About Summer

Hi I’m Summer! Miami born, raised, and based administrative creative, lifting stories, spirits, talent, and corporations to their highest potential. As a Colombian American Jew, I am passionate about championing voices of marginalized communities and identities.

After living and working in NYC for the last few years, I’ve returned to Miami to pursue an MBA degree at Florida International University’s Brickell campus and corporate administrative + creative freelance opportunities in Miami, FL.

In 2020, I earned a Bachelor of Science in Communication from Florida International University. My collegiate years were spent as a VS PINK Campus Rep, FIU Athletics Marketing Rep, HBO GO brand ambassador, and many more.

My previous experience includes regional experiential marketing for film studio clients, marketing and rehearsal assistant at a children’s choir, lots of NYC hospitality and flagship retail, Broadway research internship, freelance production assistant for theatre & film, and administrative assistant across multiple Microsoft offices in NYC. I think my background confuses a lot of people, especially when I throw in the MBA. But what kind of background do you think film and television executives had long before they even became executives?
